The way we experience our relationship with work often reflects the way we experience our relationship with our father. The same can be said of school.<\/p>\n\n

The emotional relationship an adult has with their profession often mirrors their relationship with their father. Likewise, a student’s relationship with school often reflects their relationship with their father. For example, a father and son may have a good relationship. Yet the son may unconsciously carry something on behalf of his father. In that case, he may experience school in a way that reflects the relationship his father had with his own father. <\/p>\n\n
